Switchboard Upgrade and EV Charger Installation
Every home’s switchboard is different. Some need upgrading for EV charging, some don’t, and we tell you which before we start.
The whole process gets looked after properly. From assessing the load through to installing and testing the charger, with the switchboard upgrade included.
You’ll always know the cost of your switchboard upgrade before we start. The price is fixed and written down, with a 2-year workmanship warranty covering the finished job.
We upgrade switchboards and install EV chargers throughout Newcastle and the surrounding suburbs. See the full list here.
The Switchboard Upgrade Process
Some quotes treat the switchboard upgrade as an afterthought, leaving the circuit sizing or the compliance certificate as a vague, unconfirmed detail.
Every switchboard upgrade we do follows the same steps: assessment, design, installation, and sign-off, so nothing gets missed.

0400 000 000Switchboard Capacity Check
We confirm what your switchboard can support before any price is set.
You’re not paying for assumptions, only for what the job actually requires.
Circuit Sizing and Protection Design
The right circuit gets sized for your EV charger, and the switchboard scope specified to match it exactly.
You’ve already agreed to every part of it before a single wire is touched.
Installed and Certified
Everything gets fitted and tested on the day, the switchboard, the circuit, and the protection devices.
This is the step where the upgrade actually becomes yours to use.
Backed by a 2-Year Warranty
The workmanship warranty kicks in the moment we finish, and stays in place well beyond that.
It means the job’s finished, but the support isn’t.
